Arrival to Malaga – ¡Bienvenido a España!Arrive independently in Malaga, the largest southernmost city in Europe which lies on the Costa del Sol. The arrival at the hotel runs on your own, once in the hotel you will meet your guide and other participants more or less at 5 p.m. for a briefing of the itinerary, and then begin your tour with a walk through the heritage of the Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Moors and Spanish. In the evening you will have a chance to better become acquainted with your fellow travelers and experience a tapas dinner to taste the various authentic flavors of Andalusia.

«Sierra de las Nieves» a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and transfer to Antequera
The route start in Casarabonela, a beautiful and special town in the province of Málaga, in the Sierra de las Nieves, this place is declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. The route begins on a Roman road, which linked Casarabonela with Ronda: at the end of the climb, we will continue by forest track, which crosses the Sierra Prieta for a few kilometers, until you have to leave the track, enter the forest and go down towards the town, with this you will enjoy a beautiful views and curious karst formations.

“El Torcal de Antequera” Natural Park – Hike on an ancient sea!In the morning, after breakfast we transfer to “El Torcal”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: embark on a stunning scenic walk in an impressive and surreal landscape made of 200-million-year-old limestone. Your hike will track the Route of the Ammonites: you will discover an exceptional collection of marine fossils, and you will enjoy marvelous panoramic views over the Europe’s most important karst landscape and experience the thrill of walking on land that was once submerged under the sea of Tethys, an ancient ocean formed since the beginning of time. You will Enjoy a rustic lunch with a wine pairing in a local winery then return to your 5-star hotel for a break before indulging in a delicious dinner in a restaurant located inside of the Antequera Plaza de Toros.

Subbetica Natural Park and transfer to Cordoba A fairly simple route with wonderful and unique views of the valley: we will start in the town of Rute, climb up the Torre del Canuto, a watchtower of the SXIII, where you will can admire a wonderful view of the Iznájar swamp. We will continue climbing a forest track, and from there along a path that flanks the mountain ridges, in a Mediterranean forest. We can go up to the geodesic vertex (optional) and from there go back down to the village along a narrow path in the forest.

Santa María de Trassierra and visit of Cordoba – A city of centuriesMorning, after breakfast, transfer to the country side for a hike through surprising and dense vegetation, ruins of an old mill, Roman copper mines, waterfalls and meadows dotted with hundred-year-old Holm oaks. After a picnic lunch we will return to Cordoba, where you will have the time to explore the sinuous white-washed alleyways and be amazed by the charming patios of this beautiful area, an ideal place for a short evening stroll. At night, you will savor some more tapas before being astonished by a wonderful Flamenco live show in a non-touristic and charming X century location. The best final for a wonderful day!

Zuheros and transfer to GranadaThis walk will take us across the Subbética Natural Park: starting from the white-washed village Zuheros to Zagrilla Alta, on a clear day you will enjoy the astonishing panorama of the Sierra Nevada 90 km away, while hiking along goat tracks among olive groves, ruined cortijos and meadows. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch along the way followed by an olive oil tasting at the end of the hike. Transfer to the magnificent Moorish Granada and late check in at the hotel. You will Discover beautiful neighborhood around the hotel and then enjoy delicious tapas dinner in a spectacular tavern in the city center.
